Gérard Martin Hurt, Out of Action Sunday, September 2nd, 2018 The Winfield Warriors will lose the services of starting pitcher Gérard Martin after he sustained a torn back muscle while throwing a pitch in today's game against the Barrow Frosties. "I'll get through it," Martin said. "The key now is to stay positive." His trainer said he is expected to be sidelined for 4-5 months. Over the season Martin has thrown 90 innings and dished out 127 strikeouts with a 5-7 mark and a 5.50 ERA. |
