League Suspends Houston's Page Friday, August 17th, 2018 It got ugly on the field today in the Sting and Titans game, when Scott Page was ejected for arguing balls and strikes with the home plate umpire. Before he left the dugout area, Page threw a few bats and a garbage can on the field toward home plate. League officials thought the Houston shortstop went too far and gave him a 4-game suspension. "Sometimes your emotions get the better of you and you just sort of lose control," Page told reporters, "but that doesn't mean I was wrong, just out of control." For the year Page is hitting .275 with 4 home runs. His stats include 30 runs batted in and 35 runs scored. |
