Chippewa's Fujii to Miss 4 Months Wednesday, August 15th, 2018 Disappointing news today for Chippewa River Chiefs fans. Takashi Fujii was hurt throwing a pitch in their game against the Austin Hipsters and has a torn rotator cuff. Team trainers were hesitant to predict a date for return but said it was likely the injury will keep the starting pitcher out at least 4 months. To date this year in 26 starts, Fujii has crafted a 9-8 mark with a 5.49 ERA. |
