Kingwood's Afendulov Top BOL Batter in July Wednesday, August 1st, 2018 Alek Afendulov is not used to being associated with Batter of the Month-caliber players, but today the Kingwood first baseman joined that select company when the Buck O'Neil League announced the results of July's voting. Afendulov totaled 41 hits, 19 walks, 1 home run, 21 RBIs and 22 runs scored last month to put together a .432 batting average and .534 on-base percentage. In his season totals, Afendulov has 7 home runs, .344 BA, .468 OBP, 58 RBIs and 76 runs scored. He has played in 102 games. |
