Sato Gets AHL Batter of the Month Trophy Wednesday, August 1st, 2018 Nakamaro Sato put together a good July to earn the August Herrman League Batter of the Month prize. A virtual unknown, he made the most of his chance to prove to Houston officials that he belongs on the big league roster. The Sting left fielder posted a .333 batting average with 8 home runs, 24 RBIs and 21 runs scored. This season Sato is batting .313 with 35 hits and 8 home runs. He has scored 22 times and has 25 runs batted in. |
