Houston-Austin Brawl, Hill and Malherbe Suspended Friday, July 13th, 2018 The league commissioner has issued 2-game suspensions to Jason Hill of Houston and Alain Malherbe of Austin. The two players were involved in a confrontation during a recent Sting-Hipsters game at Woodland Park and now will miss time because of it. Neither player would comment on the suspensions. Hill has collected 3 hits for the Sting this year, 0 of them home runs. He has also netted 3 RBIs and scored 1 run while batting .300. So far this year Malherbe has 2 saves in 17 relief appearances with a 0-1 record and 6.16 ERA. |
