García Best AHL Starter Friday, June 1st, 2018 António García of Houston had an excellent May with a 7-0 record and was selected the Pitcher of the Month in the August Herrman League. He finished the month with a 3.97 ERA while piling up 41 strikeouts in 45.1 innings and holding opposing hitters to a .246 batting average. Thus far this season, García has tossed 76.1 innings in 12 starts, fanned 64 batters, walked 24 and put up a 4.36 ERA with 9 wins and 2 losses. |
