BOL's Top Player, Owens of Kingwood Monday, May 28th, 2018 Dominic Owens must have thought he was dreaming. First he went on an exceptional week-long batting spree, bashing the ball at a .550 clip, then the Kingwood left fielder finds outs he has been chosen the league's best performer and gets the BOL Player of the Week Award. He told BNN reporters in the postgame, "It was a great week for me. I could see the ball so well. Plus some of the balls seemed to have good eyes, too." For the week Owens batted .550 (11-20) with 1 home run and 4 RBIs. Owens is currently hitting at a .416 pace with 4 home runs and 24 RBIs. |
