Big Day with Bat: Vázquez 5-5 Monday, May 21st, 2018 "It was almost like batting practice. I saw the ball very well and could just about hit it anywhere I wanted." That's what Houston catcher Ángel Vázquez said to BNN reporters after his fantastic 5-5 day against the Bethesda Hornets at Hornets Field. "I got some good counts and used the whole field." The Sting had a good day, too, and won the ballgame 10-1. Ángel Vázquez hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI double in the 6th, singled in the 8th and walked in a run in the 9th. |
