Cyclones Santos Injured Thursday, May 10th, 2018 Baseball can be a contact sport at times. It can exact a harsh toll on a player's body. In a recent game against Vista Panthers, Cyclones catcher Juan Santos was injured running the bases and is expected to miss 5 months with torn ankle ligaments. The team did not announce any roster moves today related to this injury. The Coney Island skipper told BNN that personnel decisions would be announced as early as tomorrow. In 18 games Santos is hitting .361 this season with 13 hits, no home runs, 8 RBIs, 8 walks, .477 OBP and has scored 2 runs. |
