Blue Claws Atkins Down with Injury Wednesday, June 13th, 2012 Medical officials from the Baltimore Blue Claws reported that the club's 29-year-old reliever, Ken Atkins, suffered a damaged elbow ligament in yesterday's matchup against the Cherry Hill Stealers while throwing a pitch. Atkins is expected to miss 12 months of action. So far this season Atkins has no saves in 18 relief appearances with a 0-1 record and 5.06 ERA. |
