AHL Player of the Week Chosen Monday, April 23rd, 2018 His hard work and hustle paid off this week. The hard-working and hard-playing Sawao Tawaraya was rewarded with the August Herrman League Player of the Week honors. The scrappy Vista Panthers second baseman hit .611 while collecting 11 hits in 18 at-bats, no home runs and 3 RBIs. This season Tawaraya has no home runs and a .362 batting average. |
