Mills Spins No-Hitter
Sunday, June 10th, 2012
In a seldom seen sight, Ted Mills threw a no-hitter as the Bethesda Hornets beat the Chippewa River Chiefs 2-0. In a dominating performance at The Reservation he struck out 7 and walked 2 while facing only 31 batters.
"He had great stuff out there," the Hornets manager told BNN reporters. "Ted was a real gamer, a real competitor. He didn't give in to anybody out there."
Thus far this season, Mills has tossed 101.2 innings in 14 starts, fanned 98 batters, walked 20 and put up a 0.89 ERA with 12 wins and no losses.
