Roman's Stewart Top AHL Batter in June Saturday, July 1st, 2017 Steven Stewart is not used to being associated with Batter of the Month-caliber players, but today the Roman catcher joined that select company when the August Herrman League announced the results of June's voting. Stewart totaled 33 hits, 8 walks, 8 home runs, 24 RBIs and 17 runs scored last month to put together a .314 batting average and .357 on-base percentage. In 81 games Stewart is hitting .252 this season with 77 hits, 13 home runs, 48 RBIs, 22 walks, .300 OBP and has scored 34 runs. |
