Bad News for Bums, Hansen Injured Sunday, June 25th, 2017 After injuring himself, Bums reliever Mike Hansen headed straight to the hospital. He was removed from the game as a precaution after throwing a pitch and the team's worst fears were confirmed when it turned out to be a little more serious. Hansen will miss at least 12 months with a torn flexor tendon in his elbow. This season Hansen has recorded 1 save with a 3-1 record. He's made 33 relief appearances, tossed 62.1 innings while fanning 81 with a 3.32 ERA. |
