AHL's Best Player Named Monday, June 12th, 2017 23-year-old Frank Coleman made a few Westside headlines during this past week as the rookie right fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and August Herrman League officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 12 hits in 25 at-bats to put up a .480 average. Coleman collected 1 home run, 7 RBIs and scored 7 runs. This year Coleman has hit at a .285 pace and produced 34 RBIs, 6 home runs and scored 33 runs. |
