Nakanishi Whitewashes Austin Saturday, May 13th, 2017 Daisuke Nakanishi of the Whitewater Eagles shut out the Austin Hipsters 5-0, stopped them on 3 hits and had 7 strikeouts and no walks in a strong outing. After the game his manager said, "He just came out and was on the attack from the first pitch he threw. When Daisuke stays ahead in the count, he does well. That's the key." On his stats sheet for the year Nakanishi shows a 2-3 record, 8 starts, 43.1 innings, 27 strikeouts and a 5.61 ERA. |
