Tempe Loses Ton Murakami Sunday, May 7th, 2017 It took the Tempe team doctor a while to realize it, but reliever Ton Murakami won't simply play through a torn rotator cuff after he got hurt throwing a pitch in today's Jedi Knights-Titans game. At first, it looked like Murakami might be back as early as tomorrow, but now the prognosis isn't quite so good; he's expected to miss at least 4 months. To this point in the season Murakami has 2 saves in 11 relief appearances with a 1-0 record and 3.00 ERA. |
