Galindo on Fire, Named Player of the Week Monday, April 24th, 2017 So far in his young career, Gregorio Galindo has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Buck O'Neil League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 22-year-old Barrow Frosties first baseman hit at a torrid .571 clip as he collected 12 hits in 21 at-bats, no home runs, 3 RBIs and 3 runs scored. Galindo is hitting .431 this season with 3 home runs, 20 RBIs and 12 runs scored. He has 28 hits in 65 at-bats. |
