Chippewa LF Jay Parker Injured Friday, April 14th, 2017 The River Chiefs will be minus Jay Parker for about 7-8 months after the left fielder suffered a broken bone in the elbow while making a defensive play in a recent game against Nichols. Parker and the Chippewa skipper were hoping further examination might show there was less damage than originally thought and he would be absent a shorter duration. Currently Parker is batting .400 with 2 home runs, 8 RBIs and 4 runs scored. |
