Injury Takes Toll, Brian Hurst Out
Saturday, September 10th, 2016
Baseball can be a contact sport at times. It can exact a harsh toll on a player's body. In a recent game against Las Vegas Lost, Warriors starting pitcher Brian Hurst was injured throwing a pitch and is expected to miss 13-14 months with a ruptured ulnar collateral ligament. The team did not announce any roster moves today related to this injury. The Winfield skipper told BNN that personnel decisions would be announced as early as tomorrow.
To date this year Hurst has compiled a 2-2 mark with a 2.22 ERA in 5 starts.
