Willis Gets BOL Batter of the Month Trophy Thursday, September 1st, 2016 John Willis has a lot going for him. The Baltimore second baseman just broke into the majors this year and now the Buck O'Neil League has just picked him as its top hitter for August. In 27 games last month, this outstanding rookie batted .389 with 3 home runs, 18 RBIs and 18 runs scored. In 128 games this year Willis has posted a .304 average and put up these numbers: 9 home runs, 62 RBIs and 73 runs scored. |
