League Punishes Pair for Fighting Monday, June 27th, 2016 The league decided to come down hard on Mauro Fonseca of the Knights and Eduardo Ortega of the Pioneers for their roles in a brawl during a game between Kingwood and Dearborn at Stable Park. Both combatants will receive 10-game suspensions because of their confrontation. This year Ortega has no saves, totaled 18.1 innings, allowed 23 base hits and fashioned a 6.87 ERA while racking up 10 strikeouts and a record of 1 win and 2 losses. |
