Daniels Goes 5-6 Sunday, April 22nd, 2012 The Baltimore Blue Claws upended the Chippewa River Chiefs at The Reservation today in large part to left fielder Ernie Daniels, who had a smashing day with the bat -- he racked up 5 hits in 6 at-bats -- and help propel the Blue Claws to a 8-2 victory. Ernie Daniels singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 7th and grounded out in the 9th. In 12 games this season Daniels has batted at a .370 pace with 10 hits and no home runs. |
