Cherry Hill Starting Pitcher Out Sunday, April 22nd, 2012 Watching Keith Whitaker getting helped off the field today at The Whig Stadium, fans of the Cherry Hill Stealers feared the worst. The news wasn't quite as bad as initially feared, but the starting pitcher will miss 6 months with a torn flexor tendon in his elbow. "We feel we've dodged a bullet. When you see a guy break down like that, you worry right away," a team spokesman said. Whitaker suffered the injury throwing a pitch in the game against the 08's. |
