Bursey and Sanders Suspended, Out 4 Games Monday, June 6th, 2016 Houston and Kingwood were informed today by the league's commissioner that two of their players have been given 4-game suspensions, citing their "inappropriate actions" in the recent altercation in a game played at Woodland Park. For their parts in the bench-clearing episode, the Sting Charlie Bursey and the Knights Stephen Sanders will be sitting on the sidelines and will not be permitted to participate in games until the suspensions are served. Bursey on the season is hitting .180 with no home runs. His stats include 10 RBIs and 9 runs scored. |
