Jewell Wins BOL Top Pitcher Award Wednesday, July 1st, 2015 There's something about a young rookie winning the Buck O'Neil League Pitcher of the Month trophy that sends shock waves through the league. Such is the case with Aaron Jewell, a 24-year-old starter for the Las Vegas Lost. In June, he topped off the month with a 4-0 mark and 0.76 ERA in 5 starts, tossed 35.1 innings, fanned 34 and held opposing teams to a .136 average. His record for the year is 10-2 in 15 starts and Jewell has a 2.25 ERA. |
