Super Swinger -- Meshizuka Slams 5 Hits Sunday, May 31st, 2015 The San Angelo Mustangs swept past the St. Paul Saints 11-0 today at Saints Ballpark and were paced by center fielder Shunso Meshizuka. The 20-year-old Meshizuka got 5 hits in 5 at-bats, helping to send St. Paul down to defeat. Shunso Meshizuka singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th, hit a two-run single in the 7th and walked in the 9th. Meshizuka's current batting average stands at .232 and he has chalked up 1 home run and 13 RBIs. |
