Carlos Calderón Out for 8-9 Months Tuesday, April 7th, 2015 Carlos Calderón at first refused to leave today's Las Vegas-Barrow game after he suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament while running the bases. But his manager convinced him not to be foolish. "I want to be on the field," the feisty Barrow right fielder said. "I'll play through just about anything." Given time to reflect on the situation, he knew it was in his best interest to get immediate treatment. The injury is expected to keep Calderón out of action for 8-9 months. |
