Star of the Week Awarded in BOL Monday, September 8th, 2014 Willis Howard stepped up to the plate in a big way last week and today he took home the Buck O'Neil League Player of the Week honors. The Barrow right fielder ripped opposing pitchers for 9 hits in 18 at-bats and 3 home runs. He put together a sizzling .500 batting average as he knocked in 5 runs and scored 5 times. Batting .293 to date, Howard has 13 home runs and 46 RBIs. |
