Roman SS Tom Trites Injured Wednesday, August 13th, 2014 It took the Roman team doctor a while to realize it, but shortstop Tom Trites won't simply play through a torn posterior cruciate ligament after he got hurt running the bases in today's Princes-Fascists game. At first, it looked like Trites might be back as early as tomorrow, but now the prognosis isn't quite so good; he's expected to miss at least 9 months. This season Trites is hitting at a .190 pace with 2 home runs, 14 RBIs and has scored 14 times. |
