Martínez Wins AHL Player of the Week Prize Monday, June 9th, 2014 The August Herrman League made it official today: Felipe Martínez is the Player of the Week. He really sparkled on the diamond this week with a .500 average to take home the trophy. The Sanford center fielder went 12-24, drove in 2 runs, scored 4 times and hit 2 home runs. Currently Martínez has 4 home runs and a .256 batting average. |
