April's Top Starter is Negreiros Thursday, May 1st, 2014 Over the past month Diogo Negreiros has turned quite a few heads. He's young, talented and able to pitch with the established arms in the August Herrman League. He proved all that and now he's been named April's Pitcher of the Month. The rookie for the Huntsville Sabercats posted 4-0 mark and a 1.73 ERA. In 6 starts he tossed 41.2 innings, permitted 27 hits and fanned 33 batters. |
