Cy Young Award Announced, Winner is Yamashita Saturday, October 26th, 2013 19-year-old Tetsuya Yamashita of the Bel Air Princes put together a good year in 2013 for such a young player. Yamashita was named today as the winner of the August Herrman League Cy Young Award. Yamashita crafted an impressive 19-7 record and a 1.62 ERA. In 210.2 innings he allowed 133 hits, struck out 224, and walked 46. |
