League Suspends Fascists Gonzáles 7 Games
Saturday, April 13th, 2013
Tomás Gonzáles was suspended by the league for 7 games for "inappropriate conduct on the field," stemming from an altercation during a game with the Bethesda Hornets yesterday at The Whig Stadium. The Roman shortstop refused to leave the field for several minutes after being ejected by the home plate umpire over a third-strike call. His manager finally convinced him to leave the field, but had to step between him and the umpire several times.

Fascists officials told the press Gonzáles was not available for comment after the game.

This year Gonzáles has collected a .209 batting average to date with 9 hits in 43 at-bats, 4 RBIs, no home runs and scored 4 times. He has played in 12 games.
