League KO's Warriors-River Chiefs Players with 5-Game Suspensions
Monday, April 8th, 2013
The fans at The Barn saw it all yesterday in the Warriors-River Chiefs game -- pushes, shoves, scuffles, a few tackles, a few swings, a few feeble punches -- and a baseball game, too. When the ruckus was over, only two players were sent to the showers by the umpire crew. Winfield's Matt Ross and Chippewa's Edwin Davis were ejected from the game.

Today the two players were suspended 5 games by the league commissioner.

For the year Davis has saved 0 games while posting an ERA of 4.15 and 1 strikeout in 4.1 innings. His totals also include a 0-0 record in 5 relief appearances.
