Controversial Age Test Suggests García Lied About Age Sunday, January 20th, 2013 Embattled Spartans prospect Manny García got the bad news today. A new and somewhat controversial DNA test has reported that the prospect is likely older than originally reported. Team officials are still trying to obtain official documents from García's native country, but in the mean time used the DNA test to try and get some more immediate answers. Speaking through his translator, García said he would not let the results affect his game play. "I'm highly saddened that this has come up, but I still plan to come and play games. I'm hopeful it will all be worked out soon." he said. |
