Luis Gonzáles Sidelined for 9-10 Months Friday, September 21st, 2012 Luis Gonzáles of the Murfreesboro Deacons could be headed for the disabled list after suffering a torn flexor tendon in his elbow in a game against the San Antonio Storm Troopers. He is expected to miss at least 9-10 months. The Murfreesboro reliever was injured throwing a pitch. This year Gonzáles has 26 relief appearances with 4 saves, 1-1 season record and a 3.71 ERA. He has hurled 26.2 innings, given up 28 hits, struck out 23 and walked 15. Opposing clubs have batted .264 against the Murfreesboro reliever. |
