Wichita's Starter Receives FFL Pitching Award Saturday, September 1st, 2018 The Ford Frick League scribes have picked August's Pitcher of the Month and have given the trophy to Ryan Jenkins of Wichita. He was devastating on the mound last month with a standout 5-0 mark. The Wolverines star hurler made 6 starts with a 1.25 ERA and surrendered 29 hits in 43.1 innings. He struck out 34 and walked 7. This season Jenkins has a 8-2 record with a 1.47 ERA. |
