Walt Hogan Hurt, Out 4-5 Months
Tuesday, August 14th, 2018
Dealing with injuries is part of the game, and now Walt Hogan of the Beehive knows this firsthand. He was injured against the Prussian Marxists while throwing a pitch. Because of ulnar nerve irritation, the Madison closer is expected to miss 4-5 months. Hogan was a little upset, but understands it comes with the territory. "Baseball can be a contact sport. You try to be careful, but no matter how careful you are, injuries happen."
His season stats show Hogan has 10 saves in 46 relief appearances with a 4-6 mark and 4.66 ERA.
