Clifford Brown Hurt, Out 10 Months Wednesday, July 25th, 2018 Medical officials from the Newark Jail Birds reported that the club's 25-year-old reliever, Clifford Brown, suffered a torn ulnar collateral ligament in yesterday's matchup against the Yorba Linda Mustangs while throwing a pitch. Brown is expected to miss 10 months of action. This season Brown has claimed no saves and registered a 7-2 record with a 6.32 ERA. He has 6 relief appearances spanning 78.1 innings and has struck out 52. |
