Mustangs Joe Watson Wins ACL Award Monday, July 9th, 2018 When it came to hitting the baseball, Joe Watson was in a class by himself in the Alexander Cartwright League this past week. Nobody did it better. The outstanding first baseman for Yorba Linda tagged opposing pitchers for a .516 average and was voted the Player of the Week Award. Included in his stats were 16 hits in 31 at-bats, 4 homers, 11 runs scored and 16 RBIs. For the season, Watson is hitting at a .339 clip with 21 home runs, 91 RBIs and has scored 81 runs. He has 116 hits, 69 walks and a .454 on-base percentage. |
