Hellcats Tejeda Injured Sunday, July 1st, 2018 Whether he wants it or not, Pedro Tejeda of the Jacksonville Hellcats will be getting some R & R -- rest and relaxation. The reliever was hurt in today's Hellcats-Outlaws game while throwing a pitch. Team officials announced after the game that Tejeda had suffered bone chips in his elbow and would be out of action for 4-5 months. To date this year Tejeda has fashioned a 4.91 ERA over 44 innings with a 2-5 record. He has made 35 relief appearances with 68 strikeouts and 1 save. |
