Newark's Washington Chosen ACL Batter of the Month Sunday, July 1st, 2018 June's Hitter of the Month has been selected by the Alexander Cartwright League. This month's trophy was presented to the Newark third baseman, Gerard Washington. He starred by hitting .261 with a .488 on-base percentage, totaled 23 hits in 88 at-bats, 10 home runs, 27 RBIs and scored 25 runs. Washington is batting .241 with 18 home runs and 54 RBIs this season. |
