Super Week for Murfreesboro's Cummings! Monday, May 7th, 2018 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Ford Frick League, but last week Allen Cummings of the Murfreesboro Deacons reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Cummings rocked opposing pitching for a .593 average (16-27), 1 home run and 13 RBIs to come away with the award. Cummings has collected 38 hits for the Deacons this year, 4 of them home runs. He has also netted 36 RBIs and scored 31 runs while batting .309. |
