ACL Awards Best Batter Prize to Espinoza Monday, April 30th, 2018 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Alexander Cartwright League, but last week Juan Espinoza of the Lake of the Isles Wolves reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Espinoza rocked opposing pitching for a .591 average (13-22), 2 home runs and 9 RBIs to come away with the award. This year Espinoza is hitting .319 with 4 home runs and 25 RBIs in 23 games played. He also boasts an OBP of .385 with 11 walks and 16 runs scored. |
