FFL Star of the Week Picked Monday, August 21st, 2017 24-year-old Jarrod Parrish made a few Phoenix headlines during this past week as the rookie right fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and Ford Frick League officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 11 hits in 23 at-bats to put up a .478 average. Parrish collected 2 home runs, 6 RBIs and scored 7 runs. Currently Parrish is batting .295 with 29 home runs, 85 RBIs and 110 runs scored. |
