Star of the Week Picked in FFL Monday, August 14th, 2017 So far in his young career, Allen Cummings has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Ford Frick League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 24-year-old Murfreesboro Deacons right fielder hit at a torrid .500 clip as he collected 17 hits in 34 at-bats, 1 home run, 10 RBIs and 8 runs scored. For the season, Cummings is hitting at a .262 clip with 10 home runs, 51 RBIs and has scored 55 runs. He has 96 hits, 61 walks and a .372 on-base percentage. |
