Ilharco Hits for Cycle Against Ottawa Thursday, August 3rd, 2017 The Ottawa pitching staff had a tough time getting Armando Ilharco out today, but they managed to deal with the rest of the Jacksonville lineup in a 8-6 victory at Parliament Field. Ilharco couldn't lead his team to a win even after hitting for the cycle and picking up 3 runs batted in in the process. "It's a great accomplishment, that's for sure," the Jacksonville second baseman said after the game. "I just wish we could have won the game. I didn't get much help." Armando Ilharco hit a solo-shot off Matt Hull in the 1st, hit a two-run triple in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th and doubled in the 8th. This season Ilharco is batting .277 with 14 RBIs, 14 runs scored and 2 home runs. |
