Ohayashi Sticks it to ACL Pitchers Monday, July 17th, 2017 27-year-old Takahashi Ohayashi made a few Temple headlines during this past week as the rookie right fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and Alexander Cartwright League officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 7 hits in 16 at-bats to put up a .438 average. Ohayashi collected 1 home run, 6 RBIs and scored 6 runs. So far this season Ohayashi is batting .260 with 4 home runs. |
